Whistle Bare has 5 full hook-up overnight sites and 2 tent camping sites, perfect for your family's next unforgettable adventure! Unwind by the spring fed swimming pond, swap tall tales around a campfire, and take part in our various summer activities!

Peak Season Pricing: May 30-September 7 *

Weekly (7 nights): $450+hst
Mid-Week 3-Night Special (excludes Fri, Sat, Holidays): $200+hst
Reservation Fee (non-refundable): $10+hst

Rate includes 2 adults and your children or grandchildren under the age of 18yrs.

Check-in: 2pm

Check-out: 12 noon. Late check-out (if available) is until 4pm with a $20 surcharge.

There is a 2 night minimum for regular weekends, and a 3 night minimum for long weekends.

For extended stays of 4 weeks or more, please contact the office for rates and availability.

Nightly: $60+hst
Weekly (7 nights): $360 +hst
Reservation Fee (non-refundable): $10+hst

VISITOR RATES

OVERNIGHT RULES & INFO

Overnight Sites:
Sites 26-30 offer pull-through access with sewer, 30 amp hydro, and water.
Sites A and B are for tents or tent trailers, with 15 amp hydro and water.

Check-out:
12:00 PM

Late Check-out:
If available, late check-out is 4:00 PM. A $20+hst charge would apply.

Quiet Hours:
11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please always be respectful of your neighbours regarding noise.

Speed Limit:
15km/hour or less. Please drive slowly.

Visitors:
Day and Overnight Visitors must pay upon arrival. All Visitors must arrive between 9am and 8pm. Day Visitors must leave the campground by 11pm.

Pets:
Pets must always be kept on a leash, except in the designated dog run area that is not fenced in. Walking leashes must be 12ft or shorter. You must clean up after your pets. Pets are not permitted in the beach area or swimming pond. If noise is a problem, or your pet is offensive in any way to other campers, we reserve the right to ask you to remove the pet from the campground.

Smoking, Vaping, and Alcohol:
These activities are only permitted on your site. They are prohibited in all common areas and roadways in the park.

Children:
You are responsible for the conduct of your children. Playgrounds and swimming areas are off limits after dusk. There are no lifeguards on duty. Children 12 years of age or under are not allowed near the swimming area unless accompanied by a parent or his/her agent who is not less than 16 years of age. Those under the age of 18 years must have a responsible parent or his/her agent who is not less than 18 years of age on the campground premises at all times.

Septic:
Each site at Whistle Bare has its own septic. We suggest you keep your Grey open all the time and empty your Black every 3 or 4 days. More often if you are high users of water. Less often if you are conservative with your water usage. If you wait until your tanks are full you will not be able to fully empty.

Site Usage:

Bicycles cannot not be used after dark.
Abusive language or profanity will not be tolerated.
Glass cups are not permitted off your site.
Campfires must be moderate in size and never unattended. Thoroughly douse fires when unattended. Do not burn plastic, garbage, skids, or tainted wood. Do not use liquid accelerants to start your fire.
Do not remove branches from any live or dead trees.
Do not attach any ropes, hammocks, or tarps to the trees.
Garbage/Recycling can be found near the entrance/exit gate. Please place garbage in the garbage bin, single use recycling in the recycling bin, and flattened cardboard in the cardboard bin. Large propane tanks can be brought to the office.

Day Use:

Cost: $100+hst, plus $5/person (free for ages 4 and under).
Payment: $100+hst due at booking; $5 per person paid upon entry.

Overnight Use:

Cost: $100+hst per night. The Shelter must be clean and vacated by 10am the following day, or an additional $100+hst fee will apply.
Cost: $10/person/night and $10/tent/night (free for ages 4 and under).
Payment: $100+hst due at booking; $10/person and $10/tent paid upon entry.

Children's Service Groups:

We have a discounted rate for children's service groups (ie Brownies, Cubs, Girl Guides, Scouts...). For discounted rates, contact the office.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

DAY AND OVERNIGHT PAVILION RULES

General Rules:

No alcohol for DAY USE pavilion rentals.
OVERNIGHT Pavilion Rentals may consume alcohol at the pavilion. Alcohol must only be consumed within the pavilion area. It is prohibited in all common areas and roadways in the park.
Smoking or Vaping is ONLY allowed in the Designated Smoking Area for both OVERNIGHT and DAY pavilion rentals.
Speed limit: 15 km/h or less.
Clear the pavilion area by 8 PM for day use or 10AM for overnight use; all guests must leave the property by this time.

Departure Checklist:

Place garbage bins and recycling inside the kitchen or bring them to the garbage and recycling bins near the office. Please use garbage bins for garbage, and recycling bins for recycling.
Close washroom and kitchen doors.
Turn off lights.

Campground Etiquette:

If walking in the campground, stay on roadways. Be respectful to our campers and their sites.
The road infront of the pavilion is used by campers. Be respectful of those walking or driving by the pavilion. Keep pavilion road clear for vehicle access.
Minimize noise and disruptive activities.

Supervision and Safety:

We do not provide lifeguards or attendants on the property. Parents or guardians are responsible for the supervision of their own children. If they are leaving the pavilion area, they must be accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian.
Children 12 years of age or under are not allowed near the pond unless accompanied by a parent or his/her agent who is not less than 16 years of age.

Pets:

Pets are part of the family. That is why our park is pet friendly.
Pets are not permitted in the kitchen, washrooms, or the beach and swimming pond.
Clean up after your pet, control noise, and keep them leashed.
If you would like to let your dog off leash, please only do so in our dog run area around the fishing pond. This area is not fenced in.

Pavilion Cancellation Policy:

Cancelling 30 days or less in advance: no refund will be issued. If rebooking for a different date in the same calendar year, then only a $25+hst Rebooking fee applies.
Cancelling more than 30 days in advance: refund will be issued minus a $50+hst cancellation fee. There is no fee to rebook within the same calendar year.
No Show. No Refund.
No refunds due to inclement weather.

SEASONAL CAMPING

Enjoy a full camping season with our seasonal camping options, perfect for families looking to make the most of the great outdoors.

Seasonal Camping begins on the Friday of the weekend prior to the May long weekend, and concludes the Sunday of the weekend after the Thanksgiving weekend in October.

Schedule B Fee: Campers bringing in their own RV into the campground will be considered Schedule B Seasonal Campers. They will have a seasonal contract for one season only. If they wish to sell their trailer, it cannot remain on the site when sold. In addition, an annual Schedule B fee of $500+hst will apply if the schedule B camper wishes to return the following season.

Yearly Vehicle Sticker Note: one vehicle sticker will be issued at no charge per seasonal site. Additional stickers must be purchased for second vehicles and/or for registered additional adults with vehicles.

Hydro Invoices: Each site has its own hydro meter. Seasonal Campers receive two hydro invoices a year. When a camper is done camping, a final hydro invoice will be created, and the $100 hydro deposit will be applied to this.

Cancellations received up to 1 (one) week prior to arrival are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations received less that one week prior to arrival are subject to a two(2) night camping fee, or three (3) nights on long weekends.
No Show. No Refund.
No refunds due to inclement weather.

Pavilion Cancellation Policy

Cancelling 30 days or less in advance: no refund will be issued. If rebooking for a different date in the same calendar year, then only a $25+hst Rebooking fee applies.
Cancelling more than 30 days in advance: refund will be issued minus a $50+hst cancellation fee. There is no fee to rebook within the same calendar year.

Seasonal Cancellation Policy

When vacating a site, only the RV, Shed and Deck may be removed. If The Park owns the Shed or Deck, they may not be removed. All plants, patio stones, and stone walkways must remain with the site. If needed, a fee will be charged to The Occupant for laying sod or replacing broken or missing patio stones. If site cleanup is needed, it will be charged to The Occupant. It will be at The Parks discretion to decide the future of any items still on the site after it is vacated.
If The Occupant is leaving at the end of the camping season, they must have their RV and personal belongings off the campground property on or before the last day of the regular camping season.
If The Occupant is leaving after storing their RV for the winter, they must have their RV and personal belongings off the campground property on or before April 30th.
If The Occupant is leaving between May 1st and May 31st, they will receive a 50% refund on their seasonal fees, minus the winter storage.
If The Occupant is leaving after June 1st, they will not receive a refund.
Failure to fully vacate the site will result in fees being applied.
Early departure for any reason will result in the site being considered vacated.
All invoices must be paid in full prior to the removal of the RV.

Storage Cancellation Policy

No refunds for cancellations or early removal of items from storage.
If you have someone that can take over your storage contract, please contact the office to discuss this option. This can be done at no charge, as long as their trailer is the same length or less than your current storage item. The person that will be taking over your storage contract will need to complete new paperwork. You will also need to transfer your gate card to them.
